I live, eat, and breathe technology with 20 years of software and hardware experience. My career has taken me
around the world living in Eindhoven, Bucharest, Beijing, Shanghai, and now Hong Kong. Through this I have
accrued broad expertise in areas such as virtual reality, e-commerce, cloud computing, IoT, and blockchains.
In my spare time I am active in the local maker communities, having been a staff member in China's first makerspace Xinchejian since its founding. I teach Arduino, electronics, and programming, as well as hosting spaghetti bridge competitions and soldering workshops.
I also have a thing for languages and am fluent in Mandarin, Dutch, English, Romanian, and I am now working on my Cantonese.
I have 20+ years of commercial software development experience. A good portion of my career was at Microsoft
being a key contributor to the creation of their Shanghai R&D center. I am the holder of 13 software patents
that focused on software development based on knowledge I gained managing large teams on distributed projects.
These days I spend a lot of my time working on development of Android and iOS apps, architecting databases, and building solutions around blockchain.
I am fluent in French, English, and Mandarin.
